Poetry Slime After Dark, SF, 8 pm
The Vault in Oakland hosting “poetry slime” an open mic poetry slam, with a theme of sexy poetry, bad erotica, etc. Tickets are $10.
Saturday, 10/1
MLK Clean Up, West Oakland, 9 am - 11:30 am
The Urban Compassion Project is hosting a cleanup event on Saturday, including litter clean up, power washing, gardening, etc. Pizza party afterwards at noon! Free entry but RSVP in advance.
Oakland Vintage Market, Oakland, 10 am - 4 pm
Another Oakland Vintage Market this weekend, from 10 am to 4 pm. They'll have 47 vendors including vintage homegoods and clothes as well as houseplants.
Oakland Black Cowboy Association Parade, Oakland, 10 am - 6 pm
The Oakland Black Cowboy association is hosting its annual parade and festival in West Oakland. Cowboys! Live Music! Pony rides! What’s not to love?
Mom’s Market, Oakland, 1 pm - 6 pm
Another outdoor vintage market hosted by Homebody this weekend, featuring vintage clothing and home goods, drinks, and art. Free entry.
Moments Sidewalk Sale, Oakland, 2 pm - 6 pm
Local collective Moments is hosting another sidewalk sale on Saturday, featuring local artisans selling jewelry, arts, and food stuffs. Free entry.
Mookie’s Top Surgery Fundraiser, Oakland, 5 pm - 9 pm
I don’t know much about this one but came across it on Instagram and it looks cute! Local handmade goods, knits etc. and some face painting. Fun! Free entry.
Sunday, 10/2
Catcall Popup, Oakland, 11 am - 6 pm
Vintage and second hand pop up in Oakland on Sunday! Collab between two vendors. Free entry.
Bizarre Bazaar, SF, 12 pm - 7 pm
Market outdoors in SF! “No ordinary market” at that. Lots of DJs and local artisans. Free entry.
Tie Dye Party, Berkeley, 6 pm - 9 pm
Berkeley’s people's park is hosting a tie dye event on Sunday. Looks like they’ll provide People’s Park shirts to dye - sliding scale donations $5-30.
